She is a Partner and Head of Brand Strategy at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, one of Fast Company’s 2021 Most Innovative Companies In The World. Bonnie was named Ad Age 2022 Creativity Awards Chief Strategy Officer of the Year. She has spent the last three decades working with brand titans to get clear about who they are and what they believe so that they can act and innovate from that place of clarity and purpose.
Bonnie Wan is the creator, author and teacher of The Life Brief.

In 2010, during a crisis of meaning, she wrote a creative brief for her life and The Life Brief was born. Her resulting Life Brief not only saved her marriage but kicked off over a decade of family adventure, filled with unexpected twists and unimaginable gifts. Today, Bonnie teaches others how to get clear, get creative, and get courageous about living without regret through her workshops, retreats and keynote talks, including Jane Goodall’s Activating Hope Summit, Gwyneth Paltrow’s “In Goop Health Summit,” the 3% Conference, and SXSW. She has also presented The Life Brief to Apple, Wieden+Kennedy, Omnicom, Change.org, Accenture, and Bain Consulting.
As one of advertising’s leading strategists, Bonnie appears in Jeff Goodby and Rich Silverstein’s Masterclass on Advertising and Creativity, served as the 2021 Jury Chair for Ad Age and Creativity’s People Awards, is an Ad Age Diversity and Equity Board Member, and is a member of The List 2022—a select group of marketing, advertising and media leaders assembled by Ad Age in partnership with Meta. Bonnie is featured in the documentary film, The Big Flip, and has appeared on Katie Couric’s Katie show as well as HuffPost Live. Her articles have been featured by Fast Company, Campaign Magazine and Adweek.
When she’s not leading and teaching strategy or dreaming up her next life brief, you’ll find her with her husband and four kids adventuring in nature and sleeping under the stars.
